An affordable, shared studio space in historic downtown dubuque. create art and create community in a safe and supportive environment. Enjoy 24-hour access to the common Studio.

The common studio is most appropriate for 2-d artists but contact us if your textile, table-top, etc. art doesn’t require major equipment storage. Depending on size of works, members may store 2-3 works they are currently creating and a limited amount of supplies.

Members who complete training may use shared equipment, as well. We have a small press for printmaking, a mat cutter, and more! See our Common Studio Guidelines for a bit more info. Contact us to set up a tour and to apply to become a member.
