Art heals bodies and minds, positively impacting those dealing with depression, anxiety, chronic pain, dementia, and more. In fact, making art weekly extends life by up to 7 years.

Art enhances learning outcomes for youth, helping them across disciplines. It helps adults continue learning as they age, keeping their thinking more agile.

Art creates community connections among those who might not otherwise meet. Meeting new people through making art opens minds and builds relationships.

Art offers residents and visitors a chance to gather. It creates a sense of pride in our neighborhood and town and provides another reason to love Dubuque.
