This two-day workshop is designed for both those new to outdoor art making and artists looking to refine their plein air painting skills with a focus on strong design, compelling storytelling, and fresh, confident mark-making. Set at Bluff Strokes Art Center and at the beautiful Bee Branch in Dubuque, IA, this workshop is perfect for painters preparing for Bluff Strokes Plein Air the following week. Through demonstrations, hands-on exercises, and one-on-one coaching, participants will learn how to see, simplify, and strengthen their compositions while capturing the essence of a scene with impact and emotion.
