Danielle Lensen will teach how to plan and create a large sidewalk chalk mural! She will introduce chalk pastel methods--blending, stippling, heavy/light pressure, light, etc. Students will learn to grid a photo or drawing to scale and translate that gridded piece onto the sidewalk. Day one focuses on planning and preparation. Day two focuses on creating outside!

Students will spend Friday 1-4PM indoors and Saturday 9AM-Noon outdoors installing chalk murals on sidewalk sections. Learn materials, set up, planning and installation of creative, temporary sidewalk chalk murals.
