Talk by Tom Riley, PhD

Influential nineteenth century philosopher Friederich Nietzsche believes that in an age of declining faith in life's "meaning," it may be that art alone can humanize us. On Friday we will outline and discuss Nietzsche's views on art's tremendous potential.

Talking About Art explores themes in philosophy of art, art history, and more. Bring your lunch. We’ll provide cookies and coffee.
