Craft an upcycled bag from materials heading to the landfill or thrift shop without a pattern. Upcycling clothes for fabric is an art form and often slow (there's a reason it's called slow fashion), but it’s really fun. Meet friends and practice the mantra: imperfection IS perfection.

Bring your sewing machine, lots of heavy duty thread, a seam ripper, scissors, a ruler, at least 2 pairs of pants you don’t wear any more or are heading to the landfill (non stretch is preferable but we can make anything work), and at least one other clothing item that has contrasting/cool colors. I like to use dress shirts that the lads in my life no longer wear or want.
