What makes Dubuque special? In this camp, young artists will celebrate and explore the beauty, history, and environment of our community while developing artistic skills through a variety of art-making techniques. From the Mississippi River to the bluffs, wildlife, neighborhoods, and local landmarks, students will learn about inspiration, making personal connections, and how artists can highlight and protect the places they love. This camp encourages creativity, observation, inspiration, connection, and how artists can make responsible choices to be kind to this special city that we call home.
